Who are we? and why?

I am Dr. Guadalupe Castillo Abrego, and for more than 25 years I have dedicated my life to medicine, with an unwavering focus on patient safety. As a specialist in general surgery, critical care, neurointensive care, ECMO and Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, I spent 16 years leading a neurointensive care unit and my practice in Intensive Care, where I observed first-hand the challenges faced by young physicians in treating complex clinical cases. These professionals, often overwhelmed with responsibility, needed reliable support to enable them to provide the best possible care.

With this in mind, DrLPita.ai was born in November 2023. Our platform combines artificial intelligence with evidence-based medicine to provide real-time clinical recommendations. DrLPita.ai not only supports physicians in their day-to-day work, but also personalizes patient care, reducing errors and improving the quality of care. Imagine a virtual assistant available 24 hours a day, who not only answers questions, but remembers each patient's medical history, preferences and needs, ensuring accurate and tailored care.
